Mela Events was acquired by M&N Brands in late 2017. M&N Brands is a holding company with investments in leading advertising and communication agencies. Being part of the M&N Brands network gives us the unique ability to leverage skill sets from across our partner agencies.

We are 51% Black Owned and a B-BBEE Level 1 Company and have a footprint in both Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa, but maintain a global reach. We have successfully conducted business, and hosted events and experiences across Africa and internationally, with existing supplier and contractor relationships held in various regions and countries.

We pride ourselves in partnering with our clients to ensure that their objectives are met, that we deliver on their requirements, and that their overall vision is brought to life. We also strive to deliver an experience that exceeds exceptions and reinforces our partnerships with our clients.

We approach every supplier relationship as a partnership and work closely with our suppliers to design the event, based on the client requirements and deliverables. Steadfast and long-lasting relationships enable our suppliers to provide added value for the best price, whilst ensuring client satisfaction.

  • We won a global tender to become one of two key suppliers for The Coca-Cola Company for event and production services across the African continent
  • We continue to win new and existing client’s RFP’s

We deliver small, medium, and large-scale event experiences – not everything is big budget, but rather it’s the delegate experience that we look to increase and maximise.

The Mela approach is fine-tuned and full-proof:

  • We receive an RFP
  • Provide the client with an event proposal and quotation
  • Once appointed, we appoint our suppliers as needed, based on the scope of work and requirements
  • Detailed status meetings are held with all suppliers and stakeholders to ensure all event requirements and timelines are met
  • Post-event debriefs are held with suppliers and stakeholders to evaluate the event outcomes and learnings where possible
